Martin Model & Pattern would like to hire a Woodturner Instructor to teach a turning class. Focus on spindle and faceplate, tools and sharpening, techniques and any special items of interest. Six 12 X 36 lathes, one 12 x 60 duplicating lathe, plus two large patternmaker lathes available. Classes usually meet once a week for 10 weeks for a 3 hour time period. Prefer either Saturday morning 9-12 and /or Friday afternoon 1-4, but open to other times. Contact me to visit the shop and discuss the opportunity. Enthusiasm, communication skills and passion for turning are the prerequisites, no degree necessary.

We also are interested in having guest instructors for one time or short seminars on various topics including marquetry, tool making, hand tools, finishing, jigs and fixtures or any other special topic that with which you would like to share your knowledge.
