Repairing Common Mishaps

 in Woodworking

Instructor: Alexander Anderson

We have all done it: small dents in the wood, chips off the corners, or lifting grain along the edge. Woodworking projects always find a way to have some little mishap along the journey to creation through the shop. Instead of making excuses we can make repairs.

This class will show some of the dozens of types of repairs that are commonly employed by Alexander in his shop. They include ironing out small dents, to inlaying patches of all shapes and sizes. We will talk about blending in the color and grain of the wood, and how to use epoxy to help with critter holes and other defects.

This is a class that will be helpful to all levels of woodworkers, and all are welcome.  The class will be both demonstration and lots of hands on.
