Basics Lecture 2 - Bench & Hand Tools – 18-2


Instructor – Jeff Zens


Jeff is a regional woodworking instructor and the co-author and a primary instructor with "Woodworking at the Next Level", the Guild's wildly successful hand tool-based series of woodworking classes. He offers private instruction in his shop in Salem, Oregon, where he designs and builds custom pieces for clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.


Location: Multnomah Art Center, Room #8

Explore the different hand planes, scrapers, measuring tools, and scribing tools. Jeff will show you how to use them as well as their care and maintenance.

This one of seven Basics Lecture classes that is offered to beginner level woodworkers. We recommend that you take any of these classes you feel you need in any order that fits your schedule.
