Bandsaw Class Instructor Amanda Wall-Graf

The band saw is a versatile piece of woodworking machinery that is often under-utilized. Join Amanda and investigate the potential of the band saw in this workshop. If you've ever wondered if you're setting your guides correctly, what kind of blade to buy or how to fold the dang thing up, your questions will be answered in this class. Then we'll quickly move into some of the more creative possibilities, learning how to make a cone, sculptural hinges and interesting textures for example. In the latter half of the workshop, students will be introduced to the simple and versatile Band Saw Box, and will begin work on a box of their own. Learn to make the bandsaw work for you, and expand your possibilities in the wood shop!  All required materials (and Lunch) are included in the class fee of $70.
