The Guild of Oregon Woodworkers' Library provides a diverse collection of educational and reference materials on woodworking and related subjects. Currently the library holds over 500 books as well as some magazines and videos. The librarian manages all acquisitions. Titles will be added based on requests of Guild members as well as on review of existing library holdings. The library encourages members and sponsors to donate books. We do not accept donations of magazines at this time.

Any Guild member in good standing may check out titles from the Guild library. The checkout process is:

  • Member requests a title by contacting the librarian using the email address below.
  • Guild librarian brings all requested items to the next monthly Guild meeting for pickup.
  • Members pick up material at one monthly meeting, and then must return all titles to the librarian at the next monthly meeting. If a member fails to return items at the next monthly meeting, a late fee of $5 will be assessed for each month thereafter.
  • Members are responsible for the replacement cost of lost or damaged items.
  • Members may check out 2 items at a time.
