As long as it's flat it should be good reference surface for glue ups! If you have a straight edge you can lay it on the table and see if any light passes under the straight edge to determine if the table is flat or has any twist or is concave, convex etc.

I have a 24x36 used drafting table that I bought and never used for drafting.  Would it make a good surface for glue ups? I also have a large Mayline sturdier drafting table that I could use for same purpose. I don't have a real bench yet, so that heavy drafting table is my worksurface. Just starting to get my woodshop in order, want to make best use of space. This little table can tilt and shorten to make a triangle shape for storage. Thoughts on whether to keep it?
