Over time the Guild of Oregon Woodworkers has increasingly made use of video recordings. Many of the guild functions are now recorded regularly. There are also a number of relevant instructional and informational videos that have been shared with the membership over time. The list of topic related groups below provides access to these videos. It is hoped that creating this indexing system of links will encourage the members of the guild to take advantage of this rich resource.

Education/Classes - Many classes are recorded for review. These videos are sometime free or for a small fee. Students in the classes will receive a link to the videos for no charge.

SIG Videos - The Guild's Special Interest Groups (SIGs) record events such as demonstrations and presentations. These are focused on topics relevant to the group. These videos capture the ideas and work and many artisans and craftsman known to our organization as well as the larger wood working community. In addition, recordings of the Guild's new Show & Tell sessions where members share with each other woodworking ideas and techniques.

Project Build - The Guild's Project Build team meets once a week to build products for sale. It not only provides a revenue source for the Guild but an excellent opportunity for members to learn and improve their woodworking skills. Since the COVID Pandemic, the team had been meeting online and often has a special presenter on various topics. Some of these have been recorded for your viewing.

General Meetings - The Guild of Oregon Woodworkers hold monthly meetings with a featured demonstrator. These meetings include organizational and informational topics as well as the demonstration.

VDay Videos - The internet has thousands of videos on woodworking projects, techniques, and other topics. However they are of various quality and some do not adhere to the same safety standards as the Guild teaches. The Guild's video team previews many videos and we only send out links to videos that are good quality, interesting topics and most importantly, show safe woodworking techniques.
