August 11th Topic:  Subtractive Art Forms (Bark Carving) 
with Jeff Harness

Jeff is one of the most well known carving instructors in Oregon.  For over ten years he ran seven weekly carving workshops at his home studio, each with 5-7 students.  He also taught three carving classes for the Guild and would have taught more but he retired last year and moved to Phoenix.  He is very willing to continue sharing with us and this session will use bark carving as an example of subtractive art, which is what carving is all about.

We hope to see more of Jeff now that we can and mostly have to use online meetings.  Come meet him, or say "Hi" again.
