Instructor- Mark Klein

The Band Saw is considered one of the most versatile tools in a woodworking shop. It can cut boards from logs and slice thin boards from thick ones. On the other hand, it can cut delicate curves and precise joints.

If you are not confident in your mastery of the Bandsaw, then this is the class for you. We will discuss best practice for each operation, you will see it demonstrated, and then you will have the opportunity to perform the procedure yourself, hands on. By the end of the class, you should feel comfortable that you can operate these machines safely. Materials will be provided.

This class is designed to help past students obtain their Green Card Certification (now called Shop Certification) on the Bandsaw. We have a few people registered so they can finish their certification. We've opened the class for anyone who would like to learn more about this versatile tool or brush up on their skills.

If the class is full, register for the waitlist so we may gage the interest level and schedule another Bandsaw Skills class.

Please contact Doug Drake at doug.drake@guildoforegonwoodworkers.org with questions.

Please register online and remit payment at once. Your registration is not complete without payment.
