2022 General Elections

Darin Molnar of Tortuga Early Instruments in Vancouver, WA offers a presentation on harpsichord making. Darin will discuss the rich history of the harpsichord, a keyboard instrument that predates the piano by hundreds of years. He will introduce his small shop and tools, cover a short history of the harpsichord, including the contemporary return to building first principles, and discuss two strategies for making instruments, especially in a small shop.
