Build A Table In A Day

Join instructors Asa Christiana and Doug Drake, and build a floating-top side table in a day. The secret is a remarkable $16 dowel jig, which you can use to build a houseful of furniture, in all sorts of shapes, sizes, and styles. So save the tricky dovetails and the tedious mortise-and-tenons for another day, and learn how to make things much easier on yourself. Each student will go home with a table, with advice on how to apply a lovely finish.

Please bring your PPE, tape measure, small square, and pencil. If you have a cordless drill (not an impact driver) please bring it, too.

Lunch will be provided.

Prerequisite: Intro to Guild Safety & Getting Started, if you were required to take GS.

Before you arrive for this class please ensure the following:

• Your vaccination card is on file at the shop. If not, bring it with you.
• You are in good health, not living with anyone who is ill, and have not been exposed to anyone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
• You have a face covering without an exhaust valve. This must cover your nose, mouth, and chin and is to be worn at all times. The Guild does have some for sale at the shop but we recommend that you bring your own.
