Shop Time

Core tool certification

No-Show Policy: (new, please read)

There is a high demand for this event. If you are unable to attend please cancel your reservation immediately so the next person on the waiting list can be registered and notified as soon as possible

The Shop Attendant will wait 30 minutes after the start of the shift. If nobody shows up, the SA will close the shop and leave, unless notified in advance of a late arrival.

On the following registration form (after you click the Register button) there are two fields for you to enter the time you plan to arrive at the shop, and an estimate of how long you will be at the shop.  If you plan to arrive later during the shift, please enter the planned arrival time there. If your arrival time changes after registration, please email the SA.

If the SA is not notified, there is a chance the shop will not be open when you arrive, if you arrive late and nobody else showed up.

Liability Waiver

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.  Please bring your vaccination card if the Guild does not already have it on file.

The Guild is following state requirements and a face covering is required for all events in the shop.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are implementing additional safety requirements for those using the shop. Before you arrive for your scheduled session, please ensure the following:

  • You are in good health and not living with anyone who is ill with COVID-19 or experiencing symptoms of a respiratory infection.
  • You are following the CDC guidelines if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
  • You have a face covering without an exhaust valve. This must cover your nose, mouth, and chin and is to be worn at all times. The Guild does have some for sale at the shop but we recommend you bring your own.

You must have the following safety equipment:

  • ANSI Z87.1 rated safety glasses if using the machine room
  • Hearing protection

User Reservation for Shop Time

Please register for the session so you can ensure there is space.  The Shop Attendant may allow drop in users if there is room.

Please review the Material Guide and bring all consumables required for your project.
