Carving SIG - Evenings
This interest list is for those who can attend at least some meetings. Monthly reminders announce upcoming topics.
The focus for the March topic is Japanese woodblock and related carvings, led by Larry Wade
These monthly carving meetings are a combination of demo, presentation, and hands-on, open to beginners and experienced alike. Topics vary over time. Last Fall we focused on sharpening, January was on rotary carving tools, February was on knives, March will be on Japanese carving (wood blocks). Future topics will be based on what attendees want, driven by an online survey that you can add to by clicking here.
A daytime group meets on the first Thursday at 1:00, click here.
DATES/TIMES - Monthly on the third Thursday evening.
LOCATION - Guild of Oregon Woodworkers Studio
COST - free except for possible material reimbursement. However, the real cost is you sharing your experience, questions, successes, and frustrations so we all can learn from and help each other.
COORDINATOR is Larry Wade, (503-312-7745, email@example.com), but expect others to pitch in over time (this could be you!).
