CNC SIG

CRAIG JONES, SIG LEAD

If you are interested in learning more about CNC in woodworking join us. Beginner or advanced. CNC is a rapidly developing method of woodworking that is providing new opportunities for woodworkers.  The Guild has now begun to develop classes in CNC and the SIG is a great way to informally begin your personal journey. Please Register and join us.  We meet the the second Thursday of every month. Begin your own journey into CNC woodworking here!

This meeting will start with a show-and-tell. Bring your work. It will cover an update on future CNC classes and the use of the Guild CNC machine.

Rich Bader will update on the Comfort Bird project. Milled wood blanks will be available for the birds if you are interested in joining the efforts. This is an ongoing project to carve 500 birds in order to donate to organizations who care for traumatized and distressed children and adults.

We will talk about the wide array of machines available to purchase. Are you ??? confused about what CNC to buy ??? We will cover 'the GOOD', 'the BAD' and 'the UGLY' about a number of different CNC machines on the market today.
