Prerequisites: Intro To Guild Safety, Core Tool Certification

The goal of this training is to provide the member with the information, demonstration and practice to ensure the safe use of this machine. The training will focus on saw terminology, plywood handling, sliding, safety and operational rules the basic cutting of other wood materials and clean up.  The trainee will be required to demonstrate that they have understood the information presented and can successfully complete the trained tasks in a safe manner.

The Guild will provide a 4’ x 8’ sheet of plywood for demonstration purposes. No supplies/wood required by trainees.

Please bring your own PPE - eye, ear and lung protection.
