As we have for the last couple of months, we’re off on another road trip. As I talk to professional woodworkers for our presentations, I find that they often prefer to present from their shop. It’s where they do their work and are the most comfortable and it lets them show us actual pieces of instead of merely pictures.

Visiting Gideon’s shop and studio this month will be a treat.  Gideon Hughes, of Gideon Hughes Woodworks, is a master craftsman who brags about being “old school.”

south off of SE Powell and then go around the block to get to 1801 SE Franklin. The entrance is on the left after you walk through the parking lot in the front. There should be plenty of street parking at that time of night.
