Shop Attendant Training Class

This course is the first step toward becoming a Shop Attendant (SA) at the Guild.  It will be held in the Bench Room and the Machine Room.

Candidates for this class should be intermediate-level or better woodworkers who have complete training on all of the core machines plus the router table, drum sander, and edge sander.

Special training classes for other tools (sliding table saw, wide-belt sander, Panto-router, Multi-router) will be arranged for new Shop Attendants to enable all SA's to be certified on all shop tools.

In addition to successfully completing the Shop Attendant Training Class, new Shop Attendants must complete two "shadowing sessions" during which they work alongside an experienced Shop Attendant in order to get the hang of the daily routine.
