What a great lead George! Thank you for the heads up. I went there today just to check it out and ended up bringing the truck and trailer back to load it almost to the top. Now if I could only magically have more space for everything…

Everyone, Josh (seller) is a great guy and is really reasonable if you’re not a cheapskate.  He threw in a few amazing pieces to my haul on goodwill alone. Very cool experience and another reason I appreciate the woodworking community so much here.

As I am wont to do, I checked out a FB marketplace ad over the weekend.   It is an absolute gold mine.  This guy has an entire underground warehouse in the central Eastside industrial district full of dry hardwood slab and dimension.  He MUST unload it all this week before losing his building, I got a 18/4 8 foot mahogany slab several black locust and a 12/4 cherry for 100 buck all told.  He is there today, Monday and Tuesday for sure after that up in the air.

From what I saw, a LOT of maple, a LOT of walnut, many other species no real organization.  Bring a light and a block plane, I can not emphasize enough much much and how cheap this all is.  Link to the ad below here
