    Darrell,

I will be back in town for a long stretch of time starting in mid-March and will be available to help with this sale ( if not held up to then) or future estates.

It's always rewarding seeing woodworkers walk away with their new purchases.

In terms of further information the sale will be in West Linn, we are per the clients request waiting for a weekend with some sunny and warmish is weather.  Items have been priced and looking for a window to hold the sale.  We always put out a notice in the weekly email blast that comes out on late Sunday night- early Monday morning.  We don't have an email list, but it's a good idea.  We also advertise on the Guilds Facebook page, Facebook market place,  Craigslist,  and Estate Sale Finder.

Late to the party, but I am also looking for a 8" Jointer. I am not picky about the blade type.

How does one learn more about estate sales? Is there an email list?

    Hi Micah,

    Thanks for the heads up.

I will reach out when I return.

In the midst of updating/reorganizing my workshop.

    Thanks.

Roland, there is a very nice 8" Powermatic with helical heads and about a 6' bead coming up at the first estate sale of the year.

    Hey Darell,

I apparently was not signed up for the estate email list. Do you have any further details for the first one of the year? I signed up but haven't received any emails yet.

    Hi Roland,

I'll be listing my Grizzy 8" with a byrd shelix head in a few weeks. I'll prob ask 800 for guild members, but I'll prob list for 1000 when I post on CL/market place.

    Thanks,

    Micha

Check at Barbo Machinery.  They often have used equipment in good shape.

Sounds great. Unfortunately, I am out of town for a few more weeks.

    Thanks.

Roland, there is a very nice 8" Powermatic with helical heads and about a 6' bead coming up at the first estate sale of the year.

    Woodworking colleagues,

I am starting my search for a 6" or 12" jointer.

Looking for a used one and appreciate any brands you feel I should consider.

    Regards,

    Roland Zapata
