Hand Saw Fundamentals

Prerequisites: Completion of Intro to Guild Safety

Students will learn about the various types of saws and cuts you can make by hand. Learn how a saw cuts and the tooth geometry that makes it work. Learn techniques that help you to reliably be able to saw to a line.  A critical foundation if you are interested in raising your Hand tool skill set! This class is strongly recommended if you plan on taking the Dovetail Joinery class. 

Materials and tools will be provided.  Students are welcome to bring their personal and required PPE, a pencil, notebook and a Combination square.
