Prerequisite: Introduction to Guild Safety 

We have arranged a special volunteer sharpening session at the Guild Studio.

The main purpose is to sharpen all of the chisels that the students in the Basics of Fine Woodworking class used this week, so that they are ready to resume their projects on Monday. There are 6 students in that class and each one used several chisels, so there is a fair amount of work to be done.

Lightly experienced sharpeners are the most welcome, to give you added experience, but you are also welcome if you have never used a Veritas honing jig before; the training doesn't take long.

As a reward for helping to sharpen the Guild tools, you are welcome to bring in a tool or two of your own, for sharpening or fettling advice.

All sharpening materials will be provided."
