Getting Started II - Project class - Build a Tool Box

Note: Completion of Intro to the Guild and Getting Started

Use your Getting Started with Portable Power Tools skills on a project oriented Getting Started class to build a very practical tool box that you will use a long time.

This GS II includes learning how to dado and rabbet with the router and instruction on the Chop Saw.

Customize the tool box dimensions. End panel templates will be provided or use one of your own design. Bring ideas with you. Feeling like a woodworker? Bring a dimensioned shop drawing of the tool box you'd like to make.

1/2" plywood, templates, jigsaw, trim router, drill motor, sander, screws, and sandpaper will be provided.

Recommended: Bring your shop apron, 6" combination square, your PPE set.
