We will study the working drawings, learn how materials take off and cut lists are generated from the plans and how those plans translate into the parts of the chair. When all the parts are fabricated, we’ll assemble the chair using different clamping and assembly fixtures. Our goal is for every participant to complete their chair in the allocated time. We’ll discuss various upholstery or woven seat options and If time allows, fabricate the necessary parts for the upholstery.
