I added the incorrect link if you want to sign up for the class starting tomorrow.

When I last checked, there were four people signed up from the Portland area, three of whom are in the Guild.

    Enjoy making saw dust.

    Hi Fellow Woodworkers,

Fine Woodworking offered an online dovetail class taught by Bob Van Dyke. The long and short of it is that I am working on the first module and I think it is a really good class. So I recommend it. It covers creating dovetail joinery with hand tools and power tools.

The next class starts next week on Feb 22. You get 4 lessons/modules to work and they are released weekly. You have a year of access to the videos.

If you don't have a shop at home, the Guild's would be more than sufficient. With the routers, work benches, saws and chisels, you should be covered for all the equipment you will need. There is a table saw component as well.

Bob Van Dyke and Fine Woodworking are not paying me to hawk their class. And I doubt I'd notice the difference in income if they did. If you sign up you may enjoy the class.
