A friend purchased a live edge piece of fir for a mantle.
He has noticed it has some really small bugs in it and want to know what to do to get rid of them.
For now, I suggested wrapping the wood airtight in plastic (mattress bag) and leaving it be fore a while. That's one way to get rid of bed bugs, and I assumed it would work here.
The bugs are tiny.
The first pic is a close up of one of the bugs.
The second pics (with the quarter) shows the holes they are burrowing into the wood.
any one know what these are and the best way to get rid of them?
Thanks,
James
