    Hi Mike,

I have a system with two bags, both large enough to accommodate your project. I’d be more than happy to help out, but I’ve not worked with honeycomb, so that will be a new one.

My schedule is pretty flexible, so let me know if or when you want to do this. I’m in rural West Linn, just south of Lake Oswego.

I built a very nice table for my RV out of quartersawn white oak,  but it's a bit much for the marine pedestal that it is mounted on.   Some googling suggests that I should be looking at building a torsion box using lightweight sheet goods and a resin impregnated kraft paper honeycomb.   I found a source for the honeycomb and it will work with pretty much any kind of wood glue.

I am wondering if anybody has a vacuum bagging setup big enough to handle a 33x39 table top about an inch thick that I could either use at your place or borrow for a day?  I'm open to paying a reasonable fee as well.

It will be a while, so no hurry.   I have to do some calculations to see if I"m going to save enough weight to make it worthwhile and then I have to build a frame, and source the honeycomb and sheet goods.
