FYI, the city of Lake Oswego is removing a 100 year old 70" diameter sugar maple at 2nd and C starting tomorrow, October 30. It is a designated heritage tree that has declined to being unsafe.   Goby wasn't interested in it, but a member might be.  If no one speaks up they will likely chip the tree.  If you are interested you should just show up and inquire.
