A neighbor of mine just cut down a cherry tree from their yard and is sharing some logs. I have 5 logs about 4-5 feet in length each, ranging from 8 to 15 inches. I would like to mill it into slabs and plan to kiln-dry it so I can use it sooner rather than later.

Since the guild does not allow lumber above 15% moisture, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share a bandsaw they have or know anyone who would slab it for a fee. I was planning to go to Milwaukie hardwoods but considering the amount I have, they may be a bit expensive overall. Please share your thoughts and guidance! Thank you
