This is from my collection of Hawaiian lumber I saved while working on the H3 highway construction projects crossing over the Ko'olau mountains on Oahu 35 years ago. The wood came to the Mainland packed in a container under my household furniture blessed with Hawaiian tea leaves attached. You may never again see this dramatic of a collection of beautiful figured wood anywhere. I tried to take some representative pictures but they don't do justice to how gorges some of this wood really is. Everything is completely air dried to 12% and finished on two sides.
