NOTE:  The next available Introduction to Guild Safety Class is March 28, 2023.  This class is required for all new members prior to using the shop or taking classes.  To use the machine room, it will be another 3-5 weeks to complete subsequent required classes.  You can sign up on the waitlist for earlier classes in the event a space opens up.  The waitlist also helps the Guild determine if more classes need to be added.

Join The Guild

New Members - JOIN

The Guild membership is for one year and is based on when you join or an "Anniversary Membership".  You will be notified a month before your membership expires to renew.

There are five types of membership: 

  • General Membership: For all skills levels from beginners to advanced.  A good starting level for most people. ($75/year)
  • Family Membership: General membership for a family up to 2 adults and 4 youths living at the same address ($100+/year)- More Details.
  • Professional Membership: For those who make some of their income from woodworking. ($100/year) 
  • Professional Plus One/Two/Three Membership: For Professionals, plus up to three employees. ($175-$325/year)
  • Student Membership:  For those still in school and are 18 and older. ($25/year)
  • Woodshop Educator Membership:  For high school and college woodworking teachers whose primary profession is education. Please include your school name and your title to assure being approved by the Administrator. ($25/year)

To add additional members, click on View Profile next to the login button (after you have logged in) and scroll down to Add Member.

Payments

  1. Online – Paying online with PayPal is the quickest and most secure method as the whole process is automated.  A recent PayPal change now initially prompts you to set up an account, but you do not need to do so, just go to Pay by Credit/Debit Card, and enter your card information. With this method, you will receive your membership card immediately on your smartphone.
  2. MailIf you cannot register for membership online, please download the application form, print it out, fill it in, and mail it with your check (made out to GOOW).  Note, it may take up to two weeks to be acknowledged.  Mail to:

Current Members - Renew, Upgrade or  Change Membership Level

RENEW - If you are already a member, you will be notified by email on when and how to renew.  Follow the instructions on the email to generate an invoice, or go to the Membership Renewal page.

UPGRADE/CHANGE LEVEL - To upgrade or change your membership level - click HERE.  You will be billed for the new membership level.  You can also go to your Member Profile and under Membership Details, click on Change.  Note that this will reset your renewal date.  Unfortunately we cannot credit remaining time on your current membership.

If at all possible, please pay online as this will speed your renewal.  To pay by check, use Membership Application.

Member Profiles

Click on your name in the upper left, then View Profile.

\When you join, there are a number of options for you to select that will tell us a bit about yourself which is your profile.  A few of the items are mandatory, the rest are optional but we hope you will tell us as much about yourself as you can.  We use this information to help better understand our members.  

WE DO NOT SELL OR SHARE ANY MEMBER INFORMATION - IT IS USED STRICTLY FOR GUILD BUSINESS.

Guild Super Supporters

For those who want to support the Guild even more, we offer three levels of super memberships

  • Bandsaw Supporter - $250 ($175 donation)
  • Jointer Supporter - $500 ($425 donation)
  • Table Supporter - $1000 ($925)
