Instructor: Tom Wildman
This two-part class will teach the students how to create realistic, to-scale 3D models of their working designs using SketchUp. The class will be conducted remotely using Zoom. Registrants will receive the Zoom link before the class.
First Session: This session will introduce the student to Sketchup and some of the basic techniques. As the essential elements of SketchUp are learned, the students will all build a model of the same piece of furniture. (2 ½ hours)
Second Session: In the second session, the students will work on your own designs. They will be guided and helped as they build their own models. (2 ½ hours)
SETUP HELP: Students will be provided a zoom link to a setup help session with the instructor on Sunday, May 9, from 2-4pm. Students can drop into the zoom session and address any problems they might be having with their setup so that they are ready to go the next evening for the class.

Strong Recommendations
4K or higher resolution monitor. While a laptop will work, you might struggle with smaller screens
Strongly recommend you use a mouse with a middle wheel, such as a Logitech M705 or Logitech MX Master. Using only a laptop trackpad as a mouse will significantly slow down your learning and productivity.
